Bathroom Mirror Update

10 Feb

We’ve been living in our house since early August and we’ve always hated our bathroom mirror.  It was big and plain.  It looked cheap and old (probably was actuall).  Just a big mirror hung on the wall with raw edges.

So last weekend we finally made a change.  We made our own mirror frame!  It looks great and really changed the room!

The original blah mirror with painters tape....

Love it!

It still needs another coat of paint and some caulking, but we are thrilled with the results.  I think we will do the 2nd bathroom soon!  Best part- cost less than $30!!!  That is incredible for a custom frame.  I will share how we did it tomorrow in case anyone wants to make this themselves!

Charmingly,

Kristin

LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I’ve been wanting to do this as well, however, our mirror has a mirror frame on it already that I need to remove first. Not sure how to do that which is why it’s still ugly. :( thanks for the inspiration! Love checking your blog for updates!!
